@snowflake954 Yesterday, no phone, wifi, TV, nadda. No mail or delivery trucks for 3 days. I remembered what it was like not to have any of these things in the Park.

When I saw you weren't posting, I thought you must have had a power outage. Makes you think what winter was like for your ancestors. They had to make it through with true grit. We're softer.

@snowflake954 Those words were straight from my father's mouth. He never took anything for granted. He always said that good food fixes everything. Every night, he'd look us directly in the eye, at the supper table. He'd linger long on thoughts about our ancestors. What would they think to sit down on a -40 below zero, blustery night and have such good food to eat. This is calving season for many ranchers. They're doing all they can to keep the calves alive. It takes true grit.
