This is exactly the way I feel about songs and music. Don't confuse the songs with real life. Then you have to edit yourself because someone's name or moniker is in the lyrics. To heck with all of that. Play what you like and let the chips fall where they may. I tell someone face-to-face if I'm dedicating a song to them but the rest of the time it's flying by the seat of my pants.

So why the monkeys. I was thinking of Maw and her old boyfriend. What a cad. Cowgirls and most cowboys never leave the house without being decked out to the hilt. Cowboy boots and neck scarves, that's just the way they roll. It's the pioneering spirit and pride for preserving what's left of the wild, wild west. If you're going to survive here you'll need it. I'm telling you true, it's all going by the way of the dodo. Houses made out of ticky tacky and multi-crap. There's a reason they still make western series and movies because it's your legacy, too.

Dig deep and find your true grit. You just never know when you may need it.

I've had some dreams but I'll keep everything to myself. I'm not blowing smoke. Songs make me happy and lighten my heart. The half has not been told what I've been through but not another word.
