@snowflake954 There are 5 Michelin stars for your house and 5 laughing hyenas for mine. Only no one was laughing back then because hot water was a luxury. Think of all the dirt sandwiches they had to eat on a daily basis. It's a wonder they made it but they didn't live as long as we are. They must have stunk to high heaven. Forget about lard@$$ lotion, they needed industrial cleaners.

Well, the streets were full of horse do-do and mud. You know, my home town in Minnesota is famous for it's 2 story outhouse--think about that.

@snowflake954 Some of Grandpaw's sibs all died of typhoid fever from bad water, young kids. Boy I went to school with died of RM tick fever. Ticks will be coming out very soon.
