Yellowstone will be fine--it was created by the forces of Nature. It's the man made things that are suffering.
I watched a program last night on Focus that showed what will happen to the world if there are no more humans. It was so interesting. So many things that I never considered, such as: what happens to the nuclear plants if left to themselves? It puts things in perspective.1 -

This wasn't the year for your kids to come. It is the 150th anniversary of the Park. The jewel of the national park system. Seeing this man's vids makes me jealous. I want to be there and I don't care how. I would love to go back and do it all over again. It was magical and spectacular.
I never took a single day for granted and even after all of these years, I barely scratched the surface. It would take multiple lifetimes to see it all. It's that grand and you should have been there with me. Cat and Char, too.
Yep--I can still hear my Mom hollerin' at my 5 brothers: "You guys go do your fighting outside, NOT in the house!" Ah, those were the days.
I do hope to get out your way one day with the kids. I think I'll leave a message for you at the Big Hotel (you know the one--The Grand Lodge). You'll find it, I know your abilities. It won't be for quite a few years, but sooner or later I'll do it.1 -
@snowflake954 It's the break shot when the cue ball is sent into the rack and organization turns into chaos. Just don't use more power than you can control. Never chalk it UP to chance. The center ball can do it all.
'It's not the cue....it's you. It's not the arrow...it's the indian.' Sassy indian or indigenous chick, first peoples secrets.
There are several shots but only one right one.
Pool like golf doesn't build character, it reveals it.
The fancy break shot is for them but the after shot is for me. The after burner is my favorite thing.1 -

@snowflake954 The after burner. Social media is like a swimming pool. Most of the noise comes from the shallow end.

@snowflake954 Not to toot our own horn but we're putting what we've learned into practice. Service. Service to others. I learned that lesson as a child from my grandfathers. We've sent several trailers of food and donations from good folks to those who've lost everything. It warms my heart like nothing else can do.
