No, I can't find the coins. If this was my old police car, they would've fallen onto the ground. I ran the wheels off that baby. It had holes in the floorboards, too much salt on the roads. The coins would've fallen right through. My feet used to get hot. I didn't care. I never wanted to get rid of that car. Wish I still had it. They never removed the suped up engine. The best part? They'd let me go, if I was picked up for speeding on my way to work. My boss, see you flying in here on two wheels, again.

Yup. The squirrels have been in their new digs since before Christmas. Now they're right across the landing. The littlest squirrel will be 4 in a couple of weeks. He wants to make hot chocolate with me. We did that after school today.

I had my bone density scan done. My bones are in great shape--haven't changed much in 10 yrs. My BIL is pleased. He says my problem is inflammation. He put me on FANS, 5 days on, 5 days off. When I'm on, the pain is gone, and I can bend and do so much more. I'd forgotten what it's like to not have that constant ache. He seems to think he can cure me, or at least make my life better. Who can argue with that? While I'm doing better, I'm cleaning like a fiend.

Another great archeological find near us--Porta Metronia. It's a depiction of the goddess of Rome with a helmut and lance, done in glass with gold flakes. It's the bottom of a glass cup. Very rare and beautiful. It came to light while digging up a section for the new subway system. When the subway opens, there will be a small museum and the piece will be shown there.

They were so advanced. We can't duplicate any of these things. Just throw up some ugly motel/hotel that looks like a cement institution.
