Actually, I'm coming home to the States. I wanted to come in May for Mom's birthday--she'll be 94 and has trouble walking, washing herself, clothes, has lapses,...... My siblings are after me to come home since last fall, but I wasn't flying on a plane with COVID in full bloom and no booster. I got my booster and am thinking of tickets, but then my oldest said he wants to go too and bring his little family (wife and squirrels).

I won't be driving around to visit friends and family as I usually do, I'll be staying on the farm with Mom and two bachelor brothers (hoarders). Mom now has a woman that comes in to clean and give her a bath, and do her hair once a week. It's going OK. I will stay for about 3 weeks and just keep her company since I haven't been there for so long.

My son said he can't get away until June. So now it's June--maybe. I always say that I'm not really going until I have the tickets in hand.

Since I won't be driving around they'll have to entertain themselves. I give that a week. He won't be able to take off more than 2 weeks. I told him to look into going out to the Black Hills or Jackson Hole for a week. He also has a cousin in Washington DC with 2 little kids and a big house and yard. They may go there for a week. It's all up in the air for now.

So, who knows? They may just see your neck of the woods after all.
