Question about logging oils.

So ... before anyone tells me that google is my friend or that I can use that search box, I have a question.

When cooking with oils, say coconut oil or olive oil. How does one go about logging it? Say I cook up some veggies (stir fry style) and use 1 teaspoon of olive oil, yet it's a dish for 2 people, split pretty evenly because it's been measured pretty evenly for 2 people. Would I log the whole teaspoon of oil or would I cut it in half? Or does it really not matter because of how the oil cooks or breaks down?

Yeah, probably a dumb question.
Thanks!

The oil doesn't break down. Some wll be left in the pan but it's too hard to calculate. I just log it all. If I put 1 tbsp into a stir fry for two people I just log 0.5 tbsp for myself.

you definetely count it. Oil has alot of cals. I would add up the entire dish and then pro rate it to each portion.

If you go under my recipes, you can create your own recipe and add the ingredients you use and how many servings there are. MFP will break down the calories for you. That is what I do when I cook my own meals and then just log that meal into my food diary

Sometimes I forget to log the oils, other times I remember. I was curious that maybe I give myself too many calories if I add it all, or maybe if I cut it *in half I wasn't giving myself enough.

Now, sometimes I make pasta, the whole grain kind. I use just the pasta, fresh spinach and tomatoes. I use about 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil, then toss it all together. Now I make my portion separately from my DH's so I do log those 2 teaspoons as mine. But I get confused when I cook stuff in 1 pan together for the both of us.

Thanks. I will try making up the recipe and then sorting out portions. I have done that before with a soup I made, but it had no oils of course.
