I've been taking a Body Pump class at my local gym for a while now. I typically go 2-3 times per week(usually 3). Do you feel this is a good substitute for just lifting weights? I really like the class and I would hate to cut out a session, but I don't really have time to add a regular weight lifting session to my schedule.

I have the home version of bodypump, its Les Mills PUMP from beachbody. I love it! You can add more weight to make it more intense just do less reps. good luck!0

I do Boby Pump twice a week at my local YMCA and I love it; it is giving me some muscles, LOL. However, I've been working out twice a day lately and do more formal weight training in the mornings and cardio clases at night. I consider my BP more like a cardio class.... I love it nonetheless! I could burn 500+ calories in an hour.
I don't get sore though; maybe time to increase the weight.0
