Hello,
Just joined up today and need to drop 20 or so. I am 61 and feel so unconditioned, when I was alway's so slim and fit. Got married about 8 year's ago and put the lbs. on and so did he. I am a rigistered nurse and work 12 hour shifts 3x a week. My day's off I am not sedentary at all. I work inside the house and do a lot of yard work which I love. My problem is I have an infatuation with "carb's". Love the bread, pasta, potatos, and of course a little wine and beer. But it is time to take control and get my old self back. Just worried about the saggy skin...yuck. But this has to be done for peice of mind and better health. I want to come off the BP med. and do not want to become a diabetic and I want to be a healthy senior. But most of all I want to be around for my kid's and grandkid's for a long time.
Two other nurse's I work with are doing this and love it. They have lost a good amount of weight and look great. Although they are in their 30th's. So proud of them.
Anyhoo...does anyone have any good recipe's they can post? Need some suggestion's.
Thank's to all
