enough.

Hello! My name is Kris, and I'm a train-wreck. Today, I realized that the jeans I wore post car accident (when I was super swollen and needed something that would slip on) are my every day jeans. I've been a member here for a long time, but honestly just dropped out. So here I am. After gathering enough courage to log in and reset my goals, I'm finally posting something!

To keep a long story short, I'm looking for motivation. I've been told to surround myself with like minded people, but that has been nearly impossible since my husband and friends eat whatever they want--whenever they want it. That being said, I get discouraged very easily.

Anyway, would love some buddies this time around!

Hi Kris I wish you the best of luck. I personally have had a hard time losing weight this time around. this isnt the first time i have tried to lose weight but this time its like the weight is fighting back; and winning. I just enjoy food and so it makes it hard for me to turn down food. Any rate, hopefully this will keep me on track for eating properly.

Hi, Kris! We have the same name, but mine is Crys, short for Crystal. Congrats on deciding to come back. I understand the difficulty of starting over. I'm in the same boat. However, I believe that we can do this, and I am willing to lend you any support that you may need.

    All the best,
    Crys
  • So know how you feel, especially the rehab after an accident. I broke my ankle badly a few years back, and it really threw off some amazing momentum I had going. We can do it! Yay to having like-minded people to support you when those around you aren't necessarily on the same wavelength.
