Delicious veggie sandwich!!!

If you like vegetables like i do you'll love:love: this!!!!
And its easy!!!

I make a vegetable stir fry(you can pick any veggies you like) i use:
tomatoes
green peppers
mushrooms
zuccini
yellow squash

*and then i stuff it all in pita bread!!!!
ONLY 60 CALORIES and DELICIOUS!!! TRY IT!!!:bigsmile:

    What kind of pita?

    Even the lowest cal/fat whole wheat pita I can find is 55 cals for a half pita. I switched to whole wheat tortillas, they come in flavors like green onion and garlic/herb - which keeps me from putting peanut butter and jelly on them as a quick snack. I have to fool myself all the time :frown:
  • the kind that i had they were in halves and you can open them up in the middle to put stuff in them. Im going to buy some more tommorow and i will let you know what kind they are.

    that sounds good... I am so picky about veggies... I can't stand the way our produce in Michigan look... ugh.. nothing is in season. A whole foods store is 2hours away... too far for groceries. :tongue: I will try this in the summer... I'll have a garden full!

    I find I cant stand the taste of pitas. I am not sure why but its definitely a texture thing for me. I don't really mind the pita but I can only eat it with like tzatziki. *sigh* :smile:

    The stir fry sounds so good though. I need to get out my WOK.
