Protein..is there such a thing as too much?

I understand there are "good" fats and "bad" fats, but what about protein? Every day I consume too many proteins. I'm just wondering if there is anything wrong with it. I usually get most of my proteins from light meats (chicken, turkey, or fish) but I also drink milk and occasionally use peanut butter. Who has some insight or knows of a few good links?

In my experience MFP sets protein too low. My Dr. and Nutritionist recommend women be at 20 grams 3 - 4 times a day.

If you are healthy with no kidney issues then it is fine to go over every day if you want. Those with health issues, some diabetics and those with kidney issues need to monitor protein. Everyone else really doesn't need to be concerned.

Thanks! I seem to be averaging about 60-80 grams a day. It's always reassuring to hear others opinions:wink:
