When I'm eating chicken, it weighs 3.5oz before I cook it, and after it is only 2oz.
Which do I log?

Doesn't really matter as long as you choose the correct entry in the database. For chicken, there are raw weights and cooked weights. I use raw if I'm making something in say a crockpot where everything will be included in the meal and nothing gets dumped out.
If I'm grilling or otherwise cooking where there will be stuff left over that I don't eat, then I use the cooked weight.0 -
Always weigh it before.0

I've always weighed meat and poultry after it's been cooked. Sometimes you have to trim stuff off and that is not eaten. Why would I log fat it if I don't eat it?0

A lot of the weight in meats like chicken breast or bacon include water that is pumped in by supermarkets (so they can charge more). Thus if you're grilling it and that all comes off, then I'd go with the weight afterwards.0
