HRM vs. Treadmill Calories Burned

Options
I have a question that may have been asked on here before, but I am honestly not going to search the board to find it.....

I just got my hrm and tonight is the second time I have used it. I noticed that on the treadmill it read 110 calories burned more than what my hrm read. This made me go huh! No matter what the pulse reading on my treadmill is it does not adjust the calories burned. So I am figuring that the hrm does.

This is my questions:
1. Does your hrm burn your cals based on your pulse rate?
2. Which is more accurate your treadmill reading or your hrm?

My thought is that the hrm is more acurate, but was not sure.

My FT7 is usually about 50 cal under what the treadmill says. It seems more correct to me.

I am beginning to agree after a lot of research that the hrm is more accurate, but my hrm was under what the treadmill said.
