To weigh myself or not

So last time I weighed myself was a week ago today. It was with my first meeting with a nutritionist, ten days after my doctor visit. My doctor visit was April 30 was when I first started my actual journey. I'd already lost 5lbs when I went to the dr appt. So I lied to my dr and told her I had been working out, but I hadn't actually been doing it. I wanted to be one of those person's who didn't lie and I began working out that day after my appt and have been ever since. I've been changing my eating habits and see a change.
BUT, now I am tempted to weigh myself before my next visit to the nutritionist, June 9th. It could do one of two things to my progress, boost me up when I see the actual progress when it comes to numbers OR I could slack off since I feel I've been doing well. I'm tempted to know, but I also want to wait out and see a bigger wt loss until my next appt.
Oh what to do?

i think you have to read what u just said if u lost weight it would boost you UP! so why would u slack off if u been doing so well!? ive done that in the past and its my biggest regret u dont stop when u notice ur doing well keep going u owe it to urself!

I have a problem weighing myself lol I do it most days. But I only record it once a week. Oh well, to each his own I guess. Plus not weighing was a problem when I got bigger, I think I was in denial about how much I really weighed....0

I weigh every day and enter the numbers in a spreadsheet. I've got charts that show daily and weekly average trends. As long as the TREND goes down, I feel pretty good about it.0

At least I am not the only weighing everyday... I don't know why I do, but its reassurance to me, and keeps me in check.0
