Trying to Lose the Baby Weight

Hi, I'm Caj and am trying to lose 100+ pounds. I'm fairly young--just 20. I grew up fairly active but when I was 19, I got pregnant. My pregnancy was fairly hard and I was very emotional. When I had my daughter, I had a forced c-section and my emotions went even more haywire. I was so sad because of the pain that I had after my c-section (literally I was in unmedicated labor for 2 full days, c-section because of fail to progress past 5.5 cm, had the c-section, got a fever/infection and had to stay in the hospital longer, when i got home I had a large absess [a pocket of blood and fluid] and it was painfully reabsorbing--which took 2 trips to the hospital and back relaxers to fix) It was a very stressful time and emotional weight packed on over my baby weight. Then, I got a little depressed not knowing where I was in life. I finally got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore. I gained so much weight I felt like I didn't know who I was when I looked in the mirror.
I finally decided to lose the weight. I'd love to hear from people who are also trying to lose baby weight or who have lost 100+ pounds successfully and kept it off.
In terms of my exercise, I was always active. I did a lot of sports and was out constantly so exercise is easy for me. i have a lot of exercise equipment in my house and my mom (also a loser of 100+ pounds after pregnancy) is a great help. However, I'd like to connect with people who've been there done that and can give me pointers or people who are also in the process and need the support just like I do.
I'm trying to get back down to my pre-preg weight minus about 20 pounds within a year. Love to hear about more people making the effort!
