how accurate is my home treadmill?

Ive been told some machines can over estimate the burn, so I always deduct 50 calories to be in the safe side.
Is this too much/little?

I use this treadmill calculator: http://42.195km.net/e/treadsim/0

Depends on the model, maintenance, age, info entered, way it gets the data required to estimate calories.0

This treadmill calculated higher then what mine read by 110 calories...0 -
I put in what I typically do on that website, and it calculated way higher too. About 100 more calories. I'm pretty chubby, and my treadmill doesn't know that (don't remember how to program height and weight), so I'm thinking the online calculator is more accurate. I get sweaty at 3.5-4.0mph, where a lot of people would consider that to be a walk.0
