I live by the quote "I call hoes, hoes but I never call hoes."0

I have and I would. In fact, one of the people I have the best chemistry with is someone I might not date simply due to incompatibility with life decisions, but usually sleeping together early on won't make me eliminate someone from my mental dating pool. Which is probably why I have so much difficulty dating. That being said, I'm a little concerned about how I've had a lot of partners and it tends to scare off more serious-minded guys-- whereas, when you already have that background with a guy, they're pretty accepting of it and it's not an issue.
Don't know if that was at all relevant to what you wanted to know, but it's actually been on my mind a lot lately.0 -
but you don't want to find out they are crap in sack, best to do it sooner rather than later

hooked up. one month later we were dating. two years later we are living together :] we were friends before though so idk if that counts0

Ive had plenty of one night stands. Some have gone into relationships. Those relationships didn't last long though.0

I might. I haven't always. Sometimes, I can't out of thre fast enough. But, yeah, if it's cool, go for it.0

If you meet someone you have awesome chemistry with and end up sleeping with them the first night you meet and enjoy the experience, I would absolutely try to see that person again and if it ends up in a relationship I don't see what the problem is..better to find out if you have sexual chemistry with someone in the beginning rather than go on 10 dates just to find out it's not really gonna work out.
That being said, as I age I'm becoming less interested in quick sexual encounters as they seem frivolous and just kind of dumb overall..although a year ago I probably would not have imagined ever typing that sentence :P0 -
Just interested in everyone's views on this. Would you date someone you had hooked up with?
Anyone met their current partner that way?
Been together 10 years, married almost 8, 3 children.0 -
I dated him, then I married him. Although it was more like a one morning stand.
There were others I dated, and still others I didn't see again...0 -
I've dated a guy who was a one night stand. It was fun, I wasn't looking for anything super serious (I was like 19) and neither was he, so we casually dated, and had a great time. I think it can work, if you're interested in a relationship, I just wasn't interested in long term relationships at the time in my life when I was having one night stands.0

In a little over two weeks, I'm going to marry a guy that for all intents and purposes was supposed to be a one-night-stand.0

Oh, and if anyone asks, we met at a pizza restaurant NOT a bar.0 -
Met my guy online, went on a date, smitten beyond belief, then slept with him. It's been 2 1/2 years since. Not that I'm going to marry him or that the relationship is a complete success yet...Obviously I'm young still...I realize this. But, I don't regret my one-night-stand either way. I felt awful right after it happened (I don't exactly make a habit out of one-night-stands), and I thought he had used me...But, when we kept seeing each other, I realized my "mistake" led to something wonderful. If we get married then I'm REALLY not going to regret it.0

No way. I dont want a guy who drops his pants in two seconds. What a slut!

I have before. It actually turned out pretty well and we dated for about 9 months. My lifestyle turned out to be a problem tho (military deployments are tough for gf's)0
-
It isn't really a one night stand if you start dating them...lol
And...I doubt I would ever sleep with something that I wouldn't want to date.0 -
I wouldn't have a one-night stand. So... no.0

Clearly you have never been drunk. :drinker:0 -
My ex relationship started with a one night stand... why not? The whole idea of having to start super slow to getting to know each other is kinda... strange to me. If you like each other go for it..0
