Starting Strength - Anyone doing it?

Hi everyone,
I dont post here a lot, but I could use some more MFP friends for positive reinforcement and cheering each other on.
My primary exercise is currently the Starting Strength program. I'm really liking doing the compound lifts to work more in less time and the less reps of more weight. Im amazed how much I can get done in about 30-40 minutes with 3 primary exercises and some secondary exercises.
Anyone else doing this program? What do you think of it?

I am. HATE squatting, because I'm bad at it.
Looooooooooooooooooove powercleans.
Also, I can't believe how similar our pugs look! It's like they are little clones.0 -

I'm not doing it but Mark Rippletoe is a very intelligent and experienced strength coach and I respect his work. Good choice for getting into lifting!0 -

The program is great and the brains behind it are too. But sometimes the things he says just make me roll my eyes. Glad I can do the program without his comments.0 -
I'm doing a similar program... basically the same lifts, still heavy. It's working well for me. I do squats, bench and pull-ups every workout. I'll also do deads and shoulder presses when I have the motivation and energy.
I also like how much I can do in a relatively short time. I also like the functional strength and stability gains I get from it.0
