Another Newbie

Hi everyone!

As the title states, I am a newbie. I'm Jenny and I am 22, and I have lost weight in the past (about 30lbs), however I got comfy and didn't lose the rest of weight I really needed to. I am aiming to lose another 24 pounds and it is looking at being a slow and steady weight loss, which is great because it means it will stay off, but I need some more support and motivation to keep going! I have been using the app for a few weeks now, but I had a about four or five days where I didn't log because we had three birthdays, including my own, and with that brings masses of cake, but with that out of the way I am determined to lose more weight.

I am really hoping you can all help motivate me to make healthy choices (and snack less!) and hopefully share some good recipes :) I am not a great cook, in fact I am terrible, but I want to learn to cook and I might as well begin with the healthier stuff. But I can bake, so if anyone wants some sweet ideas I seemed to have collected quite a few over time :)

    Hello! I am new here too - welcome! Congrats on your previous success with weight loss. Stick with the healthy snacking - my experience is that you will feel better within a few days!

    I think it is just getting through the initial barrier! Hopefully after a few weeks I will be back in the healthy food groove :) Thank you for the support!
