Hip Hop Abs anyone?

I have a friend who is a Beach Body rep, and she shared some information about this workout with me.

I found it on Craigslist and I LOVE IT! I love the energy of the workouts, and man, do I sweat with it!

I'm kind of a beginner, and she did say it might not be challenging for people who have a higher level of fitness.

I've actually started getting up at 4 a.m. to workout before work because I just love starting the day with that burst of energy.

I started out with Hip Hop Abs... I still do it every now and then, but I have to do something else, because it isn't enough of a workout anymore...
Its cool..... take notes about how you feel now doing Hip Hop Abs...and as you progress and get stronger and build your endurance, you will see a huge improvement!!!
I started doing 30 Day Shred and decided Monday, that I would take a break from the Shred and do my Fat Burning Cardio (hip hop abs).... I did it and it was a total eye opener... I got through it without even feeling "winded".... and I even had to add another exercise DVD in there  It used to really poop me out by itself... So, its really encouraging to gage your progress on your endurance.
Hip Hop Abs is really fun!! I like Shaun T...
He has another DVD out called Insanity. I would like to check it out one of these days...
Stick with your Hip Hop Abs and slowly add some other stuff to it.... You will see an improvement

I love Shaun T... he makes me giggle.
I am currently doing ChaLEAN Extreme but on occasion for an extra boost I sometimes toss him in.
It is a real mood lifter.

I really want to get the Chalean Extreme, but it is so expensive.

I have the hip hop abs and I love it.

I also have several of the 10 minute solutions, which I do 4 of the 10 minute segments for a total of 40 minutes (my favorite is the pilates)

I also have all of the Billy Blanks Tae Bo.

LOVE ChaLEAN Extreme, it was so worth the money!
I haven't lost weight per say but looking at my muscle tone, it's amazing!

    You're results have been AWESOME!
I am curious what kind of workout you do at the gym for 30 minutes to get those results.
I am gonna end up missing some of my program due to a returning soldier and being out of state and need something I can do anywhere.

I love Hip Hop Abs! I have both Level 1 and Level 2. Level 2 is tough, I still struggle with that one. Lots of jumping :) I get about the same calorie burn with that one as any other cardio (including Jillian) that I do. It's amazing! I got mine on Amazon for a pretty good price!

I love HHA. I have Level 1 & Level 2 also. I do the level 2 exclusively since I let someone borrow level 1 and they messed it up. (Always make back ups of your dvds). It is still a good low/moderate cal burn for me. It makes you feel good.
  • I have Hip Hop abs, but I'm waiting until I'm in a little better shape to do it! I felt sick the last time I tried doing it.

I sometimes wonder if I'm doing the "tuck, tilt, tighten" method correctly.

I'm sweating. It is a high-energy workout for me, but my abs seldom feel like they've done any work.

I have noticed that when I do HHA I have to REALLY mentally focus on the moves and even then I usually don't feel it in my abs til the next day... then I am sick to my stomach!

One more question: I bought my DVDs from Craigslist, so while I have the entire set, I don't have the suggested workout schedule that comes with it.

I found this on the Internet:
    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070529190118AAi13Ph

Does that look accurate? Does anyone still have the suggested workout plan? I do well with directions to follow!
