Training for a Tough Mudder with knee problems

Hello.

I managed to injure my knee the day after signing up for a Tough Mudder and obviously I still need to train for it so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for how to do that?

It's nothing too serious, I just have hyper-mobile joints so my doctor said not to do anything too high impact for the next couple of weeks and try and build up my quads but the run is 8 weeks away so I can't just rest it totally.
