Overworking Muscles?

Is it a bad idea to do squats, lunges and pushups everyday? I don't know if I'm overworking the muscle groups.

I do the Jillian Michaels workouts and she uses weights + resistance workouts. She says to do them everyday, but I'm wondering if that is too hard on the muscle groups...?

What are your thoughts?

    If you are sore, give it more time to recover.

    The physical trainer that I use to work with would recomend doing upper body one day and lower body the next. So that there was a day break in between. Abs are the only thing that was recomended each day.

    When it comes to the 30 Day Shred, JM created it so that one can do it with only one rest day per week. It's less than 30 minutes long and as long as you don't combine it with other strength training workouts you should be fine.

    Something a few people will do is alternate different weights and might even have no weight days during the week.
