Seriously, does ab work do absolutely anything for you if you haven't leaned out. I know that it is used for toning and not weight loss, so I have been staying away...but should I be incorporating some ab work into my sched.

but what else can it do? i feel like 'that's it?!" cause i can rollerblade, burn more cals, and work out my core. or run up and down the stairs and burn more cals and work out my core.0 -
definitely add ab work!!! As I am losing, it is helping with the tightening.... It also makes you stronger. YOu are still strengthening your core muscles (which is VERY important) and toning as you are losing the weight! I don't want a bunch of saggy skin :sick:0

I see it like this....I want to tone AS I lose weight, so that hopefully the saggy baggy elephant look I'm sure to have might be minimized as much as possible.
I also agree w/ the other comment. I notice when I have more core strength, I can do more of the cardio and it does help with every day stuff. Posture, which aids in digestion etc. Many benefits...at least for me
Have a great day!0 -
