Seriously, does ab work do absolutely anything for you if you haven't leaned out. I know that it is used for toning and not weight loss, so I have been staying away...but should I be incorporating some ab work into my sched.

thoughts?

but what else can it do? i feel like 'that's it?!" cause i can rollerblade, burn more cals, and work out my core. or run up and down the stairs and burn more cals and work out my core.

definitely add ab work!!! As I am losing, it is helping with the tightening.... It also makes you stronger. YOu are still strengthening your core muscles (which is VERY important) and toning as you are losing the weight! I don't want a bunch of saggy skin

I see it like this....I want to tone AS I lose weight, so that hopefully the saggy baggy elephant look I'm sure to have might be minimized as much as possible.

I also agree w/ the other comment. I notice when I have more core strength, I can do more of the cardio and it does help with every day stuff. Posture, which aids in digestion etc. Many benefits...at least for me

    Have a great day!
