Re-Losing Water Weigh?

Morning everyone! I was wondering if anyone knew if it's possible to re-lose water weight. I started MFP last September, and lost around eight pounds, but by January I pretty much fell off the wagon and haven't been consistent with my regimen since. I stopped going to the gym for a few months, and went back to eating poorly, but not AS poorly since I still lost another two pounds over the few months.

Last week I went on a very active vacation (lots of walking), and this week I started logging again and eating better. I weighed in on Sunday at 215.2, then snuck a peek at the scale this morning - 213.2. That's two pounds lost in less than a week. While I should be celebrating, having weight come off THAT fast is spooky and a little concerning.

So...because I wasn't active for a good three to four months, am I re-losing water weight? Any help would be great!

yes i believe you are. i go up and down each week and it's only water weight i loose. now if it stays off for more then a week then i consider it actual weight loss.. it all depends to on what you eat each day how much sodium you eat, etc.... eg) yesterday i was under my sodium but still ate high sodium items as wieners and beans, today i was up a lb.

If your body starts holding it, you can loose it. This can happen every month if you play with your diet alot.
