Any one tried these scales and body fat monitor in one? You have the hand bars to hold or is it best just to get a hand held one?

Yes, I've tried them and they're not that accurate. My Omron scale is about 10% off from the electrodes they used at the gym.

If you're truly wanting to get the most accurate body fat % reading, try getting it professionally measured hydrostatically (water displacement)

10% is quite a lot! i took my measurements and figured out my body fat % and want something to monitor it i think i might get a hand held device rather than the scales then

I've used both the scales and the hand held device....both Omron brands and their measurements were pretty far off!

I have a body fat scale and Omron Handheld monitor and I trust both of them. A lot of people think that the Bod Pod and Dunk Test are more accurate, but I have read where people have gotten a Bod Pod or Dunk Test and compared their results to their Omron handheld body fat monitor result and the results were either the same or like 1% off. A buddy of mine just recently gotten a Bod Pod test done and his result were close to this Omron handheld body fat monitor's result.

I say buy a Omron handheld body fat monitor. Try Academy or Amazon. They are cheaper than GNC.
