Hello,
I have been using MFP for 5 weeks now. I had no idea this would work so well for me and my lifestyle. The best part is the phone app.
The only downfall was I had to estimate my starting weight because I didn't have a scale in the house that would handle my weight. So it was 3.5 week into MFP before I went and got a scale that would work. Actually a coworker bought it for me because she wanted to see me succeed and not give up.
So 5 weeks after starting MFP, I now have two scales in my house I can use. It was a happy day for me to not see "error" on the first scale.
For a hobby I am a competition BBQ cook and compete about 10 weekends a year. The good part about this, is I am not afraid to cook and try new recipes. I have really enjoyed coming up with new recipes that are low in calories and still taste good. I'm not sure my 3 and 5 year old agree. Their idea of good food is not grilled vegetables.
So anyway, I am happy to be involved with this family of people and hope to be on here a lot more. There is wealth of information and I love reading the success stories.
Cheers,
Nate
