Eating More

So I've recently (read: three days ago) upped my intake from 1200 to 1550 and I am really struggling to eat during the day. I have little to no appetite during the day until about 3 or 4 (for reference, I wake up around 9 or 10). I know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but I haven't been able to force myself to eat more than a piece fruit because I'm just not into it. I've been struggling to eat lunch for the past hour now (as much vanilla Greek yogurt as I want with fresh blueberries mixed in) and I've been failing miserably. It's not that I don't like my lunch (Greek yogurt is my absolute fave), but I'm just not hungry. I consume most of my calories later in the day and that was okay while I was on a lower intake, but now that I've upped it I need to eat continuously throughout the day to reach my goal.

So my question is how do you force yourself to eat during the day when you're not hungry?

Maybe I just need to keep forcing it until my body adjusts to a new nutrition plan (that is one that begins with big meals during the day). I'm sure my body will get the picture eventually, right? And not everyone who eats a large breakfast probably began that way. Maybe this is just another thing I need to condition my body on.

I don't eat much before dinner, if I average it out I'd say probably 600-700 calories tops. I eat a very light breakfast (if I eat it) and lunch is usually a salad or soup for the most part. I don't get the hungries until much later in the afternoon, so I consume all of my calories between 5 and 9 usually, when my husband is home and we sit down to dinner. It doesn't matter. I've still maintained just fine. You don't need to force down food at times you don't feel like eating.
