NSV - Old New Pants!

I bought a pair of pants about 2 years ago. They had my size on the label so I confidently bought them without trying them on. Got home and realised they were too small, (was very disappointed) but thought they were too nice to get rid of so they sat at the bottom of my wardrobe, undiscovered for 2 years! In Jan this year I had a massive clear out of clothes for charity, re-discovered the never worn pants and tried them on again, couldn't even pull them over one thigh (even more disappointing) but still hung on to the pants in hope. TODAY - undergone a further clear out (getting rid of stuff I couldn't face doing first time round), found the same pants yet again and thought I'd definitely sever my (inexplicable) emotional attachment to them this time... tried them on one last time and to my delight and surprise - they FIT! and very comfortably too, I didn't have to practically roll them on like last time! Now I don't care if they're out of fashion, I'm still taking them on holiday in June!

P.S. One day I may post success pics on here (probably not of said pants) but still not 100% body confident to do that yet. Anyway... just thought I'd share my little story to encourage anyone who think's it's not happening fast enough for them, that even if you don't feel like you're getting any slimmer - the proof is in the pants!

Same thing happened to me this morning with "old-new pants" - only love handles popping out a little bit but still wore them to work today (said love handles hidden by a loose shirt of course  ). Small NSV today - was told that I'm looking good these days ...only then to be followed up with "you need to do more":grumble: Anyway happy with my progress, better for it to happen albeit slowly than none at all
