Eureka! How to measure the calories in soup!

This might seem irrelevant to most people who may have already worked it out, but it's something that has been at the back of my mind for a while. In fact, I stopped eating soup because I didn't know how to accurately measure the calories.

Now - what I do is add it in as a recipe in MFP with all the individual ingredients, and then I weigh the soup (so say it comes to around 800g) I make it 800 servings. Then, when I eat some, I weigh it and put every gram as a serving. So if it comes to 250g, it's 200 servings.

This can also work for toppings like bolognese etc.

    This is why I wish every single item in the database had an entry in grams, or mL for liquids.....
