NSV - Bathing suit

You know? I've always thought I'd feel the most successful and happy once I was about to rock a bikini.... I've realized though that I'll never be able to do that. HOWEVER, success for me now is being able to be confident in a bathing suit. I didn't realize this until I went bathing suit shopping today. Yea, I tried a tankini or two and they were okay but I wasn't confident.

Then I tried on a one-piece and it was love. Yeah, it's one of those that sucks in your fat ... or in my case loose skin on my stomach. Yea, it makes me look a little better than I already look but I don't care. Two years ago, I was trying to hide myself when I was in a one-piece even those that sucked everything in. This year, I'm gonna be walking around in my one-piece without a t-shirt hiding me and with my head raised. I couldn't do that with a bikini or a tankini. For once, I'll be confident. I won't be the girl showing the most skin but I betcha I'll turn at least a couple of heads. Hopefully, my boyfriend will think it's as cute as I do.

One-pieces can be sexy too, right? :laugh:
Maybe I'll post a picture of it tomorrow too. Maybe.

By the way, it took me 33 years to wear a bikini (this past February)...and I did it only because I was on the other side of the globe! I'm still working on the confidence part, but I'm getting there!
