Hey there! Well I just find my life kind of funny. So I decided to post a picture (first time, I hope it works!)

I've been on and off dieting for a couple of years now. I've always done it the right way. I taught myself how to eat healthy.
Fell off the wagon a bunch of times. Got into fitness recently. Here's my journey in pictures :) I will describe each one so you guys get the idea and don't make the same mistakes as I did:

"fat" : I used to eat junk food on average 3 times a week. Never watched my water intake. Never excercised.
"skinnier fat" : I was in the middle of Jillian's 30DS. Didn't know much about fitness, just strictly followed the program like a sheep.
"skinny fat" : I became obsessed with healthy foods. Did alot of cardio and loved running. But my protein intake was really low. My calories aswell. I used to aim for my BMR no matter what excercise I did.
"skinny fit" : I was not happy with the way I looked. I used to do ALOT of circuit training. Worked out 6 times a week. Ate only healthy. No junk/chocolate at ALL. Read every ingredient on packaged things. weighed each gram of the food I ate. Did have a bit of dark chocolate here n there. that was it. No fat. low sodium. good protein. BUT CRAZY STRICT.
"fat fit": Started gaining weight because I started eating like an elephant simply because I thought "now that I lost weight and gained muscle, I can eat whatever I want". That was also about when my sister left the country. Got depressed. Binged regularely. excercised less. But I was still strong.

Right now I found my balance. I am slowly but surely losing the fat and keeping the muscle. I am still discovering things about nutrition and my own body. I excercise and drink plenty of water. I try to aim 100 protein/day. It has only been a month but it is working so far.

I just want my fitness pals to know where I'm comming from. Right now I'm on a plateau, I don't blame my body because it has been more then patient with me  And as I was putting these pictures together, the only quote that came to mind was "you are what you eat" and IT'S TRUE! :p

Anyway, bottom line is:
Never give up. And remember to always ALWAYS treat your body well. Excercise regularely, feed it with good, natural food, but most importantly ENJOY life at the same time. Don't beat yourself up for going 500 calories over or eating a slice of cake like I used to. It made me (and my body) go crazy. We are human! You will see results, I know it :)

btw excuse my english, It's not my native language.

Excellent photo essay of your journey. I have no doubt that when your bday rolls around you're going to have accomplished your goal. You're doing great.

Your English is just fine. Probably better than mine.
