Hi. I have a question. I went to bed last night with my ankle a little sore and woke up this morning hardly able to walk on it. I didn't do anything other than a little bit of walking yesterday and have absolutely no Idea what is wrong with it. It's not swollen and I can put weight on it as long as it's not toward the outside. I've tried soaking it in hot water and propping it but that doesn't help. Obviously I can't work out on it and that frustrates me. Beyond that I have a 7 month old baby in an upstairs bedroom that I have to get to about 15 times a day. Does anyone have any ideas about what I could have done to it or any ways to help me recover?

No idea what you did to it but I hurt mine too. Same thing. Ran fine on Thursday. Little sore yesterday and swollen by 2 inches larger than my other today. :(

    I'm using R.I.C.E.

    Rest
    Ice
    Compress
    Elevate

    I'm also taking advil.

You should be following the RICE protocol like Deetsie, and take an anti-inflammatory. Don't put heat on it.

RICE, and get it checked if it doesn't improve.

I was moving around just fine on my ankle, regularly running between 3-7 miles several times a week, and it wasn't until after short two mile run that I realized "Hey... this hurts." Rested for one week, no improvement, so I got it checked and had a stress fracture.

I was able to use the Cybex yesterday. No pain or swelling. Hope you are improving as well!

I'm glad to hear it! Mine is getting better, I've been walking a little bit at work. I'm still going to give it a week before I attempt a workout, but at least I can walk and cary my baby around!
