Salt-free Subsitute -- need ideas

I love my salt and would like some ideas on what other people use. I've tried quite a few salt substitutes on the market, but all seemed to have some kind of aftertaste that was a bit nasty. Please post any "recipes" you might have for a salt subsitute or if they are any on the market you either REALLY like or DON'T LIKE AT ALL!

For a really long time I just didn't use salt. I use spices, herbs, and other seasonings when cooking to flavor my foods. And, for the most part, it does the job.
But sometimes you really just need that enhancement to bring out the natural flavors of a dish. I tried a couple and found the the Morton's Salt Substitute was my favorite. I only use it in small amounts in large dishes or baking, and not to just sprinkle salt on an already cooked dish, so I can't speak to any continued aftertaste from that. But I tried it straight right after buying it and it just tasted like salt to me. Not good salt, mind you, but your standard table salt kind of taste.
Plus it has the added bonus of being made from potassium. So while I'm getting the benefits of salt for the flavors of my dish, I'm also getting potassium in my diet.0
