Do you still take the tablets? If so, may be why you've not felt any pain or it passing. What does your diet consist of? Kidney stones are commonly a problem in older individuals but if your diet isn't as it should be, crystals can build up in your kidneys and cause a stone. Make sure to eat healthy, if you eat a lot of red meat start eating more white and make sure to drinks lots of water to help flush things out, I hear beer helps as well because of the carbs it contains

I had a friend with a similar experience, but I don't know the details of her diet at the time. I'm no expert but there might be a correlation!

Generally chronic dehydration is the main factor AFAIK

I know someone who lost a lot of weight in a short time who constantly had kidney stones. It's important to drink lots of water (I wish I followed my own advice on that).
