I'm so excited :-)

I've lost my first, official, 25 pounds as of yesterday. I have been very concerned that after ankle surgery a month ago, I would pile the weight on like I did last year ( 30+ in a year ).

But I am not. Instead, I am losing .5 pounds a week with little exercise until my body heals. I may have to start from zero on cardio and legs, but my upper body is rocking from all the crutching.

Today, I did 3 pushups ( on my knees ) - all the way down. I might have been able to do more had my knee held. I've never managed to do more than a pushup or two, and those with poor form.

Woot Woot <>~ tooting my own horn.

YAY! Keep it up! I'm almost to that 25 myself! Push ups are hard. I have to do them on my knees or no matter how perfect my form they kill my lower back

Great job keeping up the workouts even with a bum ankle. Now you know that you have made a lifestyle change!

My form always sucks. But I slowly work on it. I am trying to get up to a standard push up but it is taking forever :(
