Another Body Analysis Thread

While my husband and I were picking up his bib and chip for the Pasadena Half Marathon today at the Expo, there was a booth that did body fat analysis. I said to the lady that I needed to lose more weight before doing it. She said that I should do it now for comparison later. Made some sense. The name of the company is Fit-Fax.
Body Composition
Total Body Water 69.9 lbs
Dry Lean Mass 25.3 lbs
Lean Body Mass 95.2 lbs
Body Fat Mass 56.9 lbs
Body Composition Analysis
Weight 152.1 lbs (Over)
Skeletal Muscle Mass 52.5 lbs (Over)
Body Fat Mass 56.9 lbs (Over)
Obesity Analysis
BMI 30.7
Percentage Body Fat 37.4% (yikes!)
Segmental Lean Analysis
Right Arm 5.2 lbs (over)
Left Arm 5.4 lbs (over)
Trunk 43.7 lbs (over)
Right Leg 13.3 lbs (normal)
Left Leg 13.1 lbs (normal)
Body Fat and LBM
Fat: +(need more body fat mass)
-(lose body fat mass)
LBM: +(need more lean body mass)
0.9 lbs (maintain current LBM)
Body Fat -28 lbs
LBM 0.0 lbs
Basal Metabolic Rate
BMR 1303 kcal
She told me that I had a lot of muscle for my age (59) and that I had greater upper body muscle, which I found rather odd, since I am a cyclist and haven't been doing any weights (plan to soon). My right leg having more muscle than my left is rather odd to me as well, since I am strongly left-sided. I used to even kick a soccer ball with my left foot.
I think what this says is that I should lose 28.4 lbs (while keeping my current muscle mass) and not the 42 lbs that I have to go to get to my 110 goal. That would make my goal weight 123.7.
This is all very encouraging that I'm on the right track here with MFP.

Very cool! It's always good to know that weight is not the end all be all measurement of health and fitness. That's great that you have such good muscle mass. Congratulations!0

It's surprising to me that I have so much more upper body muscle than I thought. Of course, that's where I carry all my fat, too!0
