would a pie gap be the 5 minute wait in between eating pieces?

    Cheesecake imo. Maybe chocolate cheesecake.
No, it's the 5 minute wait in between eating PIES.

Almost any pie is good - but my mother's bacon and onion pie was THE pie.

It's definitely genetic... you're either born Betty Crocker, or you're not. Although I've heard that there are some culinary schools out there that promise to help you get it.

Tie between pecan pie and cheesecake (technically a pie)

I'm suddenly inspired to create a pecan cheesecake.

I would just like to note that there are 36 slices of various cheesecakes sitting in my fridge right now, awaiting a party tomorrow. THIRTY SIX.

I think I need to chain the fridge shut tonight. :noway:

    I never met a pie I didn't like, and...

    the size of the slice?

3.14259 inches along the arc of the outer crust, of course.

    After all, it is pie!

May I say this is by far one of my favorite topics EVER on here!?!?!?!??!?!?!!

I would have to say key lime cheesecake ... well, pretty much all cheesecakes except for those that have coconut or banana in them.

Other pies? Fresh strawberry pie (not the cooked strawberry pie), chocolate cream pie, blueberry pie, peach pie, blackberry pie, bet I would love bacon pie ....

Maybe it is easier to list the pies I DON'T like: anything-with-coconut-in-it-pie, any meringue pie, any banana pie, pumpkin pie (love the smell - can't stand the texture!), apple - eh, it's okay and that's about it!

  • I love Peanut Butter Chocolate pie that I can purchase at a local place or at home I make a wonderful Raspberry pie which I cut into 8 pcs. My treat of choice by far is a recipe from my grandmother for Rhubarb cake and that I have figured in here cut into 12 pcs.

Do I have to choose? I guess chocolate pecan. And the more pieces, the better.

Thanks for this thread. This is a gap convo I can appreciate!

Pumpkin or apple, but the apple has to be in phyllo dough. It's gross with big thick crust.

There is no slice, i am one with the pie.
