Ok, I have a 'small' problem, when I started MFP a few months back, I set my goal weight at 175 (was 246.6 on 3/25) and currently I am at 228.8 (5/19) but when I check my body fat using the YMCA formula, the US Navy Formula, and another one I think is the Covert Baily, is gives me a BF% of 29.14% average (as of 5/18)
This suggest that if I were to hit 175, I would be just about 7.38% BF. I do incorporate weights into my routine, though I switched the exercises up a bit last week, since I realized my upper body needs some more work than I realized.
Now, I am currently down almost 18 pounds, so in a few days to a week, I should be prompted to set new goals, and I am wondering if 175 is no longer a good goal. 10% BF would be about 180, so it seems like it might be a better target, but I am also having to consider reducing from a 2#/wk to a 1.5#/wk goal (though I might wait another 10# to do that)
Also, I swear I always hear that 180 is overweight, though the math suggest otherwise, (the BMI for my height and 180# would be 27, overweight, but I have a feeling that is just bmi being a jerk)
then again, could all three BF calculations be so far off that 180 still won't be 'fit' ? (the current range between the 3 calculations vary between 2.5% and 3.5%, so that should mean that my numbers are within 1.5% in my projections, ie 180 would be between 11% and 9% depending of course on amount of fat loss and muscle loss/gain)
Thoughts/observations?
edited because my wife said I misspelled height by using hight, meh.

yeah, that mostly just gives me numbers my math already gave me. I think I more wonder, what % should I really aim for at this point, I think next time it ask, I might change the target from 175 to 180 (7.8%->10%, I picked 175 before knowing what my BF% was)0
