How did you lose your belly?

I've been losing weight slowly and steadily, and I'm happy with that. I don't want to lose it too fast. But I am getting impatient with my belly! I try to avoid sodium and processed foods and drink a lot of water daily. At this point, I don't even care if the scale doesn't show much progress, I want to start seeing my belly go away! What do you guys do to get rid of it? Give me your diet and exercise tips please!

Mine's actually been going down at the 2nd fastest rate, with the 1st being my face. What I do the most in my exercises are figure-8s with my hips, with both arms stretched upward to elongate my obliques. I know there's no spot reducing, but there's no harm in trying something new.

Eat at a moderate caloric deficit.

Heavy strength train with compound lifts 3x a week.

You will NOT add muscle, and you WILL burn body fat:

That's 3mos of work...and only exercising 3x a week. All of the muscle showing, is muscle I had to begin with.

Try picking up a dance class! Like Zumba! I do it at my gym and I love it. I lost a lot of weight, then stopped logging and everything (and quit Zumba for school) and have put most of it back on. SOOO here I am! Haha. Anyways, doing a dance class that does some hip moving and the like is a great ab workout too! I'm back to Zumba and can already start feeling a difference.

Hope this helps, and good luck!!

The only thing that helps is losing body fat. There is no magic bullet for spot reduction.
