Goofing really well but gained?

I did over 5.5 miles yesterday and weighed this morning and gained a lb. could it be water? I am starting my cycle could that be it? Did I need to do something different? At least I am trending down.

    Either water weight from working out or it's due to TOM. You'll see it gone soon.

    Doing 5.5 miles of whatever doesn't automatically = a loss. It's probably one of the two things that you stated. Likely water retention.

    Its a pound! And u shouldn't weigh ur self everyday cuz ur weight fluctuates all day long

    Let me ask you this. Did you eat an extra 3500 calories over your TDEE? :) It's just water weight from one cause or another. not to worry!
