Goofing really well but gained?

I did over 5.5 miles yesterday and weighed this morning and gained a lb. could it be water? I am starting my cycle could that be it? Did I need to do something different? At least I am trending down.

Either water weight from working out or it's due to TOM. You'll see it gone soon.0

Doing 5.5 miles of whatever doesn't automatically = a loss. It's probably one of the two things that you stated. Likely water retention.0

Its a pound! And u shouldn't weigh ur self everyday cuz ur weight fluctuates all day long0

Let me ask you this. Did you eat an extra 3500 calories over your TDEE?
It's just water weight from one cause or another. not to worry!
