MFP vs hrm's

Anyone get a higher reading on their HEart rate monitors than what MFP calculates?

    yep! all the time! and sometimes vice-versa! I always go with my HRM...

    MFP always underestimates for me. Sometimes by almost half.

    Me too. Someone told me to minus 15% from the HRM reading and log that because the 15% is what you would have burned if you were not working out during that same period of time. Made sense so I do.

    This made my day! I was starving tonight and my HRM gave me 300 more calories. Now my tummy has stopped growling. Thanks you guys!
