Diet/Fitness Profile

Some days, I still at the computer a lot at work. Some days, I'm up and moving quite a bit. Which means that some days, I'd fit the sedentary profile, and some days the lightly active.
I've started using a fitbit to keep track of calories since there can be quite a bit of variation.
I currently rank myself as sedentary in my profile, and when I get a fitbit adjustment, I go ahead and eat more. I'm wondering if I should rank myself as lightly active. Thoughts?
(I'm thinking I should rank myself as lightly active, and see if I keep getting a fitbit adjustment. If I don't see it, rank myself back down. Maybe that is the right place to start? I just don't want to eat TOO much!)
