Hey all. So this week I decided to switch my sodium intake to track my sugar intake since I've been managing my sodium well. My limit is 30g. Any ideas for low sugar meals? I eat lots of fruits and fruit smoothies with no added sugar. Today I went over my sugar by 28g.
Any advice? Thanks!

Switch out some of your fruits (especially in the smoothies where you won't notice it as much) with low carb veggies (i.e., not potato, field peas, corn, etc.) and that should help a bit.
Also, if you like berries, melon and papaya those are the lowest carb fruits. Pineapple, grapes, mangos and bananas are some of the higher ones so you might want to steer clear of those or at least watch intake.0 -
Just include mostly meats and veggies for a meal like Chicken, a veggie, and rice. I eat lean meats with veggies, oats, eggs, cottage cheese, etc on the days that I come in at really low sugar. When i want something different I might make salsa chicken in the crockpot with pineapple salsa.0
