Why is it so hard to keep track on weekends?
Any tips on how to keep my diet in check and not be embarrassed about what I did or didn't eat?
I really feel weekends can make or break your life style with food and working out. Any tips to keeping on tack if you can't log them?
All responses appreciated. Thank you.

I kept falling down on weekends and holidays when one is expected to share and make different than normal dishes. Finally I decided that I had to consciously examine each item and weigh the consequences of eating it and whether it was right for me or not.
Today, we had a guest for dinner and she knows that I am eating only portions based on the diabetic exchange amounts, nothing more or less. Her husband had been a diabetic so she was familiar with the portions and types of food included. She asked if she could bring something after I had sent her the menu to ensure that she could eat what I had planned. She ws going to bring some cookies that she and my DH could enjoy with the fruit salad I had planned. She ended up making a small fruit cake and understood completely that I had just a 1/2 tsp to taste.
May I suggest that you make a menu plan for the weekend? Salads, lots of veggies, small amounts of protein and fixed amounts of starch or grains.would be easier to plan and then, focus on portion sizes that you consciously choose as right for you.0
