Should I put Total loss?

I am just wondering I have lost 50lbs since January 7, 2009. 19lbs of that is since I started here. When I started on this site I put what my weight was that day. Should I have put my weight from before I lost weight so it could keep a complete total of my weight loss?

Does what you were before matter to you, or is that number a motivational factor? If it is, then for sure you should use the original number.

If not, then it doesn't really matter.

Losing that much weight either way is AWESOME :drinker: Good job...

I think I would. Its all part of the same journey - no matter what tool or site helped you along your way.

    Congratulations on your loss.

I use any motivational factor that I can. I put my January 14 starting weight even though I didn't start MFP until a month later.

congratulations on how far you've come. keep doing what you're doing.

Are you kidding, not crazy at all. I love seeing my number.

It reminds you how hard you worked for it.

I use your (all you big loosers haha) ticker as inspiration. Every time I see it- I think 'that's gonna be me soon!'. :flowerforyou:

Well I started working out with a personal trainer, Monday will make two weeks. She really pushes me hard. I actually like that though. When I leave the gym I feel so good and have so much energy. So now that I am working even harder I guess I want the world to know every pound.

Congratulations to everyone that has sent comments, All the lbs lost between us are very good.
