I'm starting weight training tomorrow, I bought a too small two piece suit and I'm going to take before pictures first thing in the morning. Anybody care to share their before and afters in relation to weight training? I don't care if you didn't lift often, I wanna see pictures for inspiration! I'm sure you guys have some hot bods out there to inspire us all.
Thank you in advance.

I use the New Rules of Lifting For Woman training program, and I swear by it.0 -

Nope. No restrictions. Men's progress is inspiring too!0 -
such a good idea - i have been weight training for about 3 weeks or so now, about 4 times a week, since i don't have a huge amount of weight to lose (only about 3kg) - I think the results will be quite subtle initially.... I have been thinking I should take some 'before' photos, otherwise it may be easy to think i am not getting any results..... (despite feeling stronger already!)
also - if i turn into a ripped goddess then it would be great to look at the before shots to see how far i came!!! lol0 -
Planning to start lifting heavy too. Can't wait to see the progress pics!0

Cheri I would love to know how much time elapsed between your weight training before photo, and the 'after' photo. you look amazing.0 -

Oops! Sorry! That would be helpful, wouldnt it!
No joking... I started new rules of lifting for women (NROLFW) on 3-26-12 and those pictures were taken early May. (cant remember exact date.) This lifting program is SUPERIOR and delivers results. I am also training for a triathlon and half marathon but I lift 3x/week.0 -

Ok...remember, you asked lol =p.
That's three months of strength training (and 40lbs of bodyfat), my program was 3x a week, 30-45min per session. I did almost NO other exercising, but my job is relatively active. I focused on compound exercises (exercises that focus on more than one muscle group at a time)...performing no more than five exercises per session. My format was 5x5, and I used a weight/exercise I could only perform maybe 7 reps on the first set.
Here's a few other pictures of the 'after' stage lol.
First, post workout:
And a final one, relaxed on a Sunday morning:

Starting out around 140-143
Work in progress... lost maybe 4 lbs, but definitely gained muscle and lost body fat... I am a believer in taking measurements not going by the scale. I also have been using NROLFW, but I do not follow it like I should.0 -
Bumping for inspiration! Keep photos coming I'm planning to NROLFW in June0
