Hi can anyone recommend a fitness DVD for me.

2 months ago I fell and broke my nose and elbow. I also tore the sack your brain sits in and leaked cerebral fluid from my nose for a fortnight.
My face is healed but I was told not to jiggle my brain for quite a while
My elbow is still quite painful, i am not allowed to drive for a few more weeks.

I am happy walking but would like to do some other form of excercise as I get less pain from my arm. My Jm 30 day shred involves too much jumping for my brain to handle.

What other DVD can I pget that will improve my fitness and tone me up (and help me lose weight)?

Thanks MFP pals

walking dvds (such as Leslie Sansone), exercise bike (not real bike because of the bumps and pressure on your arm), elliptical (without hand grips until yu can tolerate them)

Biggest Loser workout dvds (they all have modifcations - ( for example instead of jumping jacks they have a squat modification on some and step/ tap-out modification on others)

yoga or pilates dvds - I like Ellen Barrett Power Fusion and Grace & Gusto

also check out collagevideo.com (collagevideos.com) - tons of dvds and you can sort by type, level, impact etc

    Good luck with your recovery!

If you have access to a swimming pool you can do some water walking or resistance exercises.

Leslie Sansone, Turbo Jam or Zumba... The Leslie Sansone and Turbo Jam videos have modifiers that you can follow so you don't have to do any high impact. Zumba you can also just do what is comfortable for you! Hope you feel better soon!
