To do 30 day shred whilst doing C25K? I start week 5 in a couple of days and wondered whether doing shred will make me ache too much and thus result in me skipping running days. I hear how achy people are left while doing shred... although one of my best runs was one I did a couple of days after climbing the highest summit in the UK (which left my calves in tatters)

    I do both, though I follow a different plan on the 30 day shred iow not every day. The only day that I run and do a shred together is on Monday's and I manage fine. I'm on week 3 of c25k and I'll be moving to week 4 this Saturday. :)

    I don't do shred nor do I do C25K, but I lift weights and run on my own and I'm fine.

    If anything the lifting helps improve my stamina for running.. and I'm not achy or anything.
