lose weight and gain muscle help

Im 5ft4 and weight 119lbs, im just wondering if anyone knew how many calories i should be eating to tone up? Im doing 30 day shred also so if anyone has any experience please share :)

    If you want to gain muscle you have to eat a surplus and lift heavy weights. But if you want to lose fat and keep your muscle you must eat over your BMR, and lift weights. Women cannot bulk up lifting heavy.

    It's about what you are eating not exactly how much.. Focus on Protein. At 119 you should be just fine around 1400-1600 calories if you are working out. Minimum 100 grams of protein a day. Lift heavy to build. 30 day shred is more about burning calories and losing fat. Losing body fat will help tone, but lifting heavy will do the work. Add a heavy lifting plan in a couple days per week.
